About

Thomas Day

Thomas Day is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Intern from Concordia University. He approaches diagnosis and treatment planning from a strengths-based, client-centered perspective, where unconditional positive regard and empathic attunement form the foundation of the therapeutic relationship. Day has experience working with preteens, teenagers, adults, and elders (65+), assisting them in navigating various clinical challenges in couples, group, and individual settings. His overarching aim is to facilitate each individual’s journey toward a more enriched and fulfilling life.

Thomas offers evidence-based treatments for a range of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, PTSD & complex trauma, OCD, panic attacks, personality disorders, bipolar I and II, substance & behavioral addictions, and more. He is trained in several modalities, including CBT, DBT, & SFBT, and incorporates interventions drawn from psychodynamic principles and attachment theory. This approach is informed by research highlighting the importance of emotional expression and somatic integration.

Thomas completed his clinical practicum at a Las Vegas nonprofit serving military veterans and their families. Previously, he held roles in social work and corporate management. He aspires to provide high-quality mental healthcare to diverse clients throughout Nevada.
