Kyrsten Sprewell is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Pasadena, CA. Her journey into social work was sparked during her pre-teen years, growing up in an inner-city environment surrounded by friends who were either involved in the juvenile justice system, lived in foster care, or were affected by gang violence. This early exposure to the challenges faced by her community ignited a passion in Kyrsten to make a tangible difference. She was particularly drawn to the significant impact social workers can have across diverse populations and was motivated to reform the systems to better serve those in need.
Kyrsten pursued her undergraduate education at Tuskegee University, where she delved into the complexities of various societal systems and recognized their inherent inefficiencies. This realization steered her towards focusing on mental health support and educating individuals on navigating life’s challenges, many of which are beyond our control. Her commitment to making a difference led her to Clark Atlanta University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work, specializing in clinical mental health.
Over the past decade, Kyrsten has provided mental health counseling in a variety of settings. She has developed wellness curriculums, workshops, organizational wellness programs, and educational content online, establishing herself as a leader in the field. Although Kyrsten is particularly adept at treating Anxiety and Mood Disorders, she is a general practitioner at heart and welcomes the opportunity to assist clients facing a wide range of issues.
